Here's a fun way to use your tag punches. Just ignore the guides and put an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece in it.

 I just eyeballed the center of the cardstock. Punch.

 Then do the other side.

 Now just trim to the tag.

 Score at 4-1/4".

Finally fold on the score line and fold the other tag over. Now embellish!
