We had fun creating with the July-Dec 22 Mini Catalog.  The instructions for the for the hippo card are on our previous post

Using a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of cardstock, mark at 3-3/8 and 7-5/8 at the top and bottom. Score at 5-1/2.

Score between opposite marks.

 

Classic Treat boxes- extended

Don't you love these little boxes. Great for some last minute gifts.  And by extending them, they are more versatile. Just score an 8 inch long cardstock or DSP at 1-7/8s inches 4 times. The remaining piece is for your glue. Just fold it around the base of the box and glue.  It stays so well that I didn't even attach it to the base. 

HoHo's fit perfectly in this santa box.

This is a 8-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of cardstock scored every 1-7/8 inches then ran through the Cut and Emboss with the brick folder.

August 2021 Projects

This is what we made at our last stamp camp in August. We try to use a variety of products, techniques and styles, that are simple and duplicatable. Our November 5th & 6th classes are all filled up.  You can register for our classes at sassyclassy.eventsmart.com.  We usually open up registration the day of the previous class, sometimes sooner.  Beginning in 2022, the cost if the class will be increasing to $60. Come spend the day with us, we'll feed you a yummy lunch too.

This one was a fun one.  If you stamp them just the same on each crease, they line up perfectly when the card is closed! They look pretty Jolly to me!

Brightly Gleaming Bag & Tag

This bag uses a 12x12 piece of DSP and no glue!

This bag is perfect for anything, especially cards.  A stack of them fit inside perfectly.  This bag uses one 12 x12 piece of DSP and 2, 2x6 pieces. Your 12 x 12 piece is scored at 3" & 9", then turn it 90 degrees and score at 5" & 7". Fold the 3" sides in, then glue your folded 2x6 piece on. Now fold the A's over to the B's, line up along the edges and crease it. No need for more gluing either.

Snowflake Wishes Cards

This snowflake card has a fun fold. The card is scored at 1-5/8, 2-1/2, 4-1/4, 6-3/4.  I like to flip my cardstock over every other score mark.

Santa Beard Card

We designed this card many years ago.  I love how you just tuck the beard under the mustache to keep it closed.  But we thought it was time for an updated one.  This one uses all current products.  The Celebration Labels dies were perfect for this.  We even used our velvet paper for the hat and felt for the eyebrows. But can you guess what shape we used for the eye brows?
