Dress Form Divas

I love the variety in all these cards. This die lends its self to so many different styles. Daune Cotter made the card with the Calypso Coral dress.  Barbara Welch made the one with the purple dress.  Kathy McDowell made the glitter dress card and Susan Adams made the dress form in newsprint card. So glad the dress form framelit dies will be available in the 2013/2014 calalog.

Epic Day Dress Form cards

How 'bout 28 dress forms out of one sheet of DSP! That is pretty impressive huh? Just cut your sheet into 2x5" pieces. That makes a lot of cards to swap! Then add a few dresses if you like! (You can get 36 dresses out of another sheet)  We swapped them at the Regional in Salt Lake last week. Maybe you got one?

Designer Fly Swatters!

Soooo, my husband texted me the other day and said he saw designer fly swatters at the store. I thought...they can't be cuter than ours. So I thought I better put them on the blog. We used fun bright colors of fabric, cut them out with a die then sprayed them with starch, crinkled and let dry. Last year we made them using Timeless Portrait fabric. That picture is below. Just want to make sure ya'll know that you can cut 8 layers of fabric at a time with your big shot! Let me know if you guys want me to attach the file for the tags! We will be selling these at the What Women What Show, St. George, in May. Everybody needs a cute fly swatter right?

Remember those little aliens and flowers we made. I posted them March 29th. Well now they have a home! And yes, you guessed it, we used the Petite Purse die. The little sizzlets fit perfectly through the 1/2" circle punch. Good luck finding the sizzlets.  We haven,t been able to find them since Easter, but the do have them at oriental trading-a little pricey though. You could put them on anything really. If you just want to come buy them already made, we will have a booth at the What Women What Expo in May.

What do you get when you ink your embossing folder?

Gorgeousness! Don't think that's a word but it sure describes it.
This is a fun technique. All you do is ink your embossing folder! We used crumb cake on both of these. So pretty. To make the little pink chapstick holder, we used the two tags die.We used the creped filter paper to make the flower, by just cutting 8 layers with the secret garden framelit die, separated the layers, scrunched then spritzed it with a little bit of champagne mist shimmer paint.

Birthday Card Bazaar

We had to make 120 birthday cards, so we challenged ourselves to make them all out of one pack of DSP and one stamp set.  Here are the results! We made 30 of each.  They are all pretty simple too. We even managed to get a guy card out of it. I think the card with the cake could loose a few embellishments to qualify as a guy card too.
