First Edition Snowflakes

If it doesn't snow at your house, like mine.  Just make your own! Check out the tutorial down below for two of the snowflakes... I took a picture of the back side with examples of the pieces I used in the snowflakes.  Use glue dots or a glue gun to adhere.  If you use a glue gun, Stampin' Ups Silicone Craft Sheet is awesome to use.  I will post instructions on the top snowflake tomorrow!

Do you need one last Decoration in your house? Print this off on Card stock. You can cut around the Label Shape. But if you are in a hurry like me, just trip the white, punch two holes in each, and string some ribbon or tulle through the holes.  Then I took 5 inch pieces of tulle and tied in a knot in the center.  Super fast and Voila, you made a banner!

Glitter Cone Trees

Do you have some glimmer paper lying around? Just roll the paper into cones.  The thickness of the glimmer paper give it lots of stability. Then just add some polkadots or glitter covered sticky strips for stripes. Jill Olsen created these trees!

We made some tags to go with these little guys so we though we would repost them. You can use the punch to attach them to the little guys and just cut rectangles for the big guys. This link should work... Reindeer tags

These tags are "tree"riffic. So simple, lots of punching...my favorite thing to do, the kids like to help with it too! Fun Christmas colors, just sad that paper didn't come in 12x12 sheets.

We found some tags on pinterest by Madonna Dunn.  Here is our version with a little box they can fit in and also be used for a treat. I'm so excited that I don't have to cut out these little guys by hand! The scented embossing powder would be perfect with these tags.

Elfin' Magic Quilt

The Holiday Stocking die was used to make the elf feet.  Such a cute idea to have their faces hiding behind the presents. Half a scallop circle was used to make the wrapper ends of the candy

If you like pieced quilts, then this is the card for you! A little easier than a quilt in my opinion. Just adhere your strips of DSP to a piece of paper, then run that piece through your Big Shot with your favorite die. Jessica Jones made this card.

Window Christmas Card

I forget how fun it is to make window cards. You could put any thing in the middle of that card.  I just might do that for my Christmas cards this year and put a family picture behind the window.  Great way to add a flag element too. Linda Heller gave us this card.

Hopefully these pictures will help you see how it was scored. Score your 11 x 4-1/4 cardstock in half. Then score from the center to the opposite corner. After you punch, place the card front on the bottom part of the fold. Susan Adams created this card. What a fun way to display a card.

I used the leftover pieces from the cards I posted on October 18th to make these pages. Or I used the scraps from these pages to make the cards? Anyway it went, they turned out gorgeous! Pretty simple too, the only part that took a little time...were layering all the pieces of the clocks in the background.

Great monochromatic card. I picked this card because if its fall colors, but I think it would make a perfect wedding card. There is a little bit of cutting going on here (not my favorite thing to do) it's definitely for someone special. Love the antique brad, I would put an antique brad on everything if I could!

Lovely Leaf Cards

What fall card is complete without a few leaves or earthy colors. Sometimes it's a little hard to line up those leaves.  Maybe next time they will make the leaf dies as a framelit. I like to punch the leaf out first, then lay the leaf upside down on the stamp. Can't get enough of all the great embellishments in the Holiday Catalog!

Scallop Envelope Treat box

This little box was made with the Scallop envelope Bigz die. I always need cute little boxes. I haven't tried it yet, but looks like you need to trim the bottom of the envelope a little before you stick them together. Below is a side view of the box. Hopefully you can see how the two envelopes are put together. Sandy Wingate shared these cute little things at Jill's get together in September.

sunflower card

Such a simple card, but so striking.  The trick is sticking the 4 squares of color together on a thin piece of paper, then emboss it, then and put it on the brown piece.

scarecrow tootsie pop

You have all seen the ghost toosie pop. How 'bout a scarecrow! Made with a coffee filter just like the little broom.

S&P Recipe:
Jack of all trades stamp set (w...122620, c...122622)
Houndstooth and Scaringbone DSP (126906)
2-1/2" Circle punch (120906)
1" Circle punch (119868)

Instructions-

• stamp a face just below the center of a coffee filter
• cover your tootsie pop with 2 coffee filters and wrap with twine
• tie a piece of ripped fabric around the neck
• place a 4" piece of ribbon that is shredded at the ends, on the head of the scarecrow
• use the 2-1/2" circle punch for the brim
• then punch the 1" circle in the center of the brim
• make a cone with half of a 2-1/2" circle, overlap by about 3/4 of an inch
• use glue dots to adhere cone to the head
• place glue dots on the front and back of the inside of the brim
• slide the brim down over the cone
• cut a little section on each side of the coffee filter, pull up peices and tie twine around to make arms
• glue a few little scraps of DSP on scarecrow for patches
